Noem&Co grew out of Noemnoem Jewellery, Mariet’s first love and creative beginning. What started as one maker’s work has become something bigger: a home for treasures, stories and collaborations that reach beyond a single brand.

Noem&Co is not only jewellery. It is a gathering place for pieces that honour nature, creativity and connection. Here you’ll find Mariet’s own designs, Sharon and Mariet’s explorations through Mizumizu, and the words of Shani from Poetry for Strangers. Shani writes custom poems on her vintage typewriter which you can choose to add to your order, making each piece an even more personal gift. Every collection, whether made or curated, carries the same intention to offer meaningful objects for nature lovers made with heart and authenticity.

Mizumizu holds a special place within Noem&Co. When Mariet and Sharon met in Greyton they connected over shared paths and a vision for jewellery that speaks to the self beyond ego. Their first collection was sculpted from wild Greyton clay and later cast into enduring rings that keep the texture and spirit of the earth. These designs flow like water, telling stories and holding feelings in tangible form.

At its heart Noem&Co is a home for treasures that remind us of beauty, meaning and our place in the natural world.

What are Mariet & Sharon's backgrounds?

Sharon is a master goldsmith and the former owner of Scarab Jewellery, with decades of experience. Her expertise in traditional metalwork brings timelessness to each piece, while her eye for detail ensures that every Mizumizu creation is as resilient as it is beautiful. Sharon’s skill with metals is grounded in the techniques she’s studied, giving each piece a sense of legacy and artistry.

Mariet, the owner of Noemnoem Jewellery, comes from a background in design, with a love for nature-inspired, one-of-a-kind creations that highlight organic forms. Having crafted jewellery inspired by botanical elements and earthy textures, Mariet brings a modern, artistic sensibility to Mizumizu. Her approach to design is intuitive and playful, focusing on telling stories and sparking emotional connections with each piece.
